I have extensive experience in both mental health and substance use issues and treated adults and adolescents. I have been supervised and trained in both pre and post-graduate settings in individual, group, family, and couples counseling therapy. I have experience working with a wide range of psychological issues including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use.
I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) models and offer a direct and compassionate humanistic approach. I use Logo therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.(ACT). I am also well versed in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
