About
I believe everyone has an innate capacity for healing and growth, and the basic right to experience safety, connection, and joy. Most of us face times in life when we become stuck in pain, grief, disconnection, hopelessness, shame, confusion, worry, or other challenges that keep us from living our capacities fully. As a therapist my role is to support you in moving through these challenges in order to reconnect with what matters most to you. I offer a calm, grounded presence; deep curiosity, compassion, and respect; and a nonjudgmental, affirming space to explore your priorities at your pace. **Currently full with a waitlist.**
I will support you to: be more present with and accepting of yourself as you are right now; understand and change habits, thoughts, or reactions that are no longer serving you; connect with your deeply held values and enact them in your daily life; and build more connected relationships with others. I offer individual and couple / relationship therapy.
I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities and practices including Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Emotion-Focused (EFT), and Narrative therapies; personal and collective trauma and attachment frameworks; and a commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression. Please get in touch for a free phone consultation to explore if I might be a good fit to support you.
