Are you feeling anxious? Do you ruminate in your thoughts and situations seem overwhelming? Do you have past trauma that makes it difficult to trust people and your decisions? Acknowledging that life is uncertain and not knowing how to move forward is a step in a healthy direction. I believe that building safety and trust with clients, encourages self-exploration and growth.
I work with individuals who are in transitional periods in their lives. Often times clients refer to this transitional time as feeling lost. This can be exampled in grief; loss of a loved one or parts of ourselves, depression, loss of identity and anxiety. I collaborate with clients to find the best approach to feeling healthy and confident.
I believe that a therapeutic alliance is grounded in collaboration and trust. I use integrative therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind/body practices, Solution Focused Therapy that address a broad range of client issues and needs.
