**ONLINE SESSIONS AVAILABLE** I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing counseling services including individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and intensive outpatient group therapy. My experience working in the social work field as a therapist has given me a unique ability to utilize sensitivity and compassion when engaging with youth and adults who are affected by anxiety, depression, challenges with self-esteem, mental health, trauma, stressors, relationship issues and substance abuse.
I use an integrative approach to help maximize the benefits of therapy. This includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
I cultivate a feeling of ease, offer validation and promote empowerment with a disposition that is clinically appropriate, professional and effective. I believe we all have the capacity to overcome our challenges which can result in a better understanding of self and an increased sense of empowerment.
