Hi! I'm Esther, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in San Diego, CA, and I currently provide therapy in person and via Telehealth. I work with different populations and age ranges and specialize in treating trauma, life transitions, grief, anxiety, and depression. Over the years, I’ve learned the most important aspect of therapy is the chance to be truly seen & heard without judgement. I recognize the importance of representation in mental health, and I hope to offer a safe space that promotes comfort and helps reduce the stigma surrounding mental health services.

My therapeutic approach is very much client-centered “talk therapy,” rooted in Psychodynamic therapy with a trauma informed approach. I’ve found this approach to be effective in establishing a safe and trusting relationship with my clients, while building rapport and exploring unconscious patterns and themes that affect your behaviors.
Choosing to seek therapy is a courageous step that reflects your strength, and I would be honored to listen to your story. I genuinely believe that everyone possesses the ability to create meaningful change in their lives, and sometimes, we simply need a bit of guidance along the way.
