About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Lakewood, NJ, providing individual and group behavioral health services, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and mood disorders. I have trained extensively in the treatment of eating disorders, achieving designation as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. In addition, I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy by Behavioral Tech and in Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE) by Melanie Harned, Phd, ABPP.
Eating disorders require specialized care, informed by evidence-based research, strong training, and collaboration with other eating disorder professionals. My approach to eating disorder care is based on a Health At Every Size perspective, wherein I help my clients learn to eat intuitively, improve body image, and reduce focus on weight and size.
In addition to my specialties, I enjoy working with people who struggle with self-esteem issues, anxiety, and/or difficulty managing life stressors and changes. I fully believe that all of us have the capacity to make tremendous changes in our lives. The treatments I utilize are treatments that work, and can help you move towards a life worth living.
