The purpose of counseling is to instill hope, provide a safe place for people to voice their feelings and concerns, while empowering them with tools to improve their lives. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their age or circumstances. I have many years of experience working with children who have attention deficits and hyperactivity (ADHD). I worked in public schools for 8 years; 4 of which as a Parent Educator.
I love helping parents with difficult children and assisting others navigate life's challenges using biblical foundations while building on clients' strengths. I graduated from St. Mary's University with a MA in Mental Health Counseling in 2007; became fully licensed in 2010 & certified as an LPC-Supervisor in 2013.
I have experience working with ADD/ADHD, ODD, OCD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, divorce recovery, spiritual issues & PTSD. I was fortunate to grow up in Central America where I fell in love with the Latin culture and received the priceless gift of speaking Spanish fluently.
