I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and have five years of experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds in various social service and mental health settings. As a bilingual (Mandarin) Licensed Master Social Worker, I aim to create a nonjudgmental and culturally sensitive space and develop an authentic therapeutic relationship to help you embrace your individuality and impermanence.

I like to think of myself as a seasoned clinician who has adapted and adjusted to the changing times. I am currently providing telehealth services only. I have evolved my craft toward a mindfully oriented practice which I combine with cognitive, behavioral and DBT techniques. My work supports adults (26+) going through their journey of radical acceptance focusing on those life changing events which can often cause emotional dysregulation.

I am a LCSW and I received my MSW degree at Fordham University’s School of Social Services. I decided to pursue a career in mental wellness to decrease the stigma about mental illness. It was important to me to help people improve their mental health outcomes and become more aware of issues that can trigger mental illness. I am passionate about working with people from disadvantaged populations to increase the quality of care they receive. Before joining Rivia, I worked in private practice, university settings and intensive outpatient programs.
