Before choosing a career in Social Work, I obtained a degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I am a LCSW and I received my MSW degree at Fordham University’s School of Social Services. I decided to pursue a career in mental wellness to decrease the stigma about mental illness. It was important to me to help people improve their mental health outcomes and become more aware of issues that can trigger mental illness. Dana takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, utilizing strengths-based perspectives to work on your goals. She strives to create a safe space to explore whatever challenges have brought you to therapy.

I am a New York-raised psychotherapist who specializes in areas such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma recovery and attachment wounds. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from Nyack College.

I encourage self-awareness, understanding, and acceptance of emotions while teaching you how to regulate them. I help you manage distress tolerance, learn effective communication, and how to create and maintain healthy boundaries. I believe that self-acceptance and self-love are key to a healthy self-esteem and a meaningful life.
