Trauma and negative life experiences teach us what to believe about ourselves and the world around us, but sometimes they inform us inaccurately. Whether you've experienced abuse, difficult relationships, loss, or grief, I would love the opportunity to join you as you rediscover who you are and walk into healing and wholeness.
With a Certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation as well as additional training in sex therapy I am prepared to build relationships with clients who have experienced various traumatic events, whether that be a car accident or sexual abuse. I believe trauma can have a profound impact on our identity, but healing is not out of reach.
Because emotional injury so often happens in relationship with others, I believe that healing takes place in the context of relationships. I believe that a healing relationship can be formed in counseling, and I aim to provide a nonjudgmental, gracious, and caring relationship with those whom I counsel.
