I am passionate about guiding people along the path towards creating a life filled with purpose, hope, connection and joy. I help people navigate the obstacles that keep them from moving in the direction of what they value most. My approach to counseling is collaborative and creative. I know the importance of understanding the unique story of each person, family and couple. I encourage people to become the author of their own life stories so they can discover new meaning, clarity and appreciation as they move forward to write new chapters.

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and specialize in working with adolescents. In addition to being a licensed mental health counselor, I am also a Mindfulness Meditation teacher. I utilize Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help clients recognize, embrace and transform their difficult emotions. I am trained in Crisis Response and EMDR.

I begin each new counseling relationship by inviting people to tell me their story. I respect the courage it takes to open up and treat my clients as equal partners in the process of healing.
