My approach to counseling is collaborative and creative. I recognize the importance of understanding the unique story of each person, family and couple. I encourage people to become the author of their own story so they can discover new meaning, clarity and appreciation as they move forward to write new chapters.
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and specialize in working with adolescents. In addition to being a licensed mental health counselor, I am also a Mindfulness Meditation teacher. I utilize Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help clients recognize, embrace and transform their difficult emotions. I am trained in Crisis Response and EMDR.
