I believe healing begins when individuals look inwards and take a holistic approach to their own well-being. Stripping away what does not work and helping clients establish healthy boundaries in relationships that will bring them more joy and fulfillment is a primary goal in my approach with clients.
Understanding that it takes time to figure out the best approach for each individual client; I strive to help clients first focus on therapeutic themes and in time develop goals that will help them achieve inner peace and well-being.
I have over 15 years of experience serving children and families of various backgrounds and within multiple systems of care. I have worked with vulnerable populations my entire career, including foster youth, acute mentally ill adults, adults and children with generational trauma, attachment issues, and grief/loss.
My trauma-informed approach focuses on how resilience and building up your systems of support enables clients/families to heal together and within their natural environments. My hope is to provide a safe, warm space for clients to feel supported with compassion and empathy.
