I am a specialist in treating sex addiction/betrayal trauma as well as it's related issues: depression, anxiety, etc. I also treat family members and spouses who have been affected by addiction and find themselves dealing with betrayal trauma. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT-C) and have been working with betrayal trauma and addiction for many years. In our office we work as a team to help both the individual and the couple recover from the impact of addiction and move forward in meaningful ways. As a trauma specialist I am also an EMDR provider. I also offer walk/talk therapy for clients who prefer this modality.

I am passionate about this work. Having spent many years in a serious relationship with a good man who struggled with sex addiction, I saw the immense impact it had on both of our lives. I know firsthand that there is hope and healing for anyone affected by sex addiction.

My practice is in Richland where I work conjointly with another CSAT to treat couples. I graduated with my Masters degree from ASU and a Bachelors degree from BYU. I am a native of the Columbia Basin and my husband, children and I are thrilled being back in the area.

Erin Silva's Groups

Perfectly Imperfect--A support group for Women

A support group to help women who struggle with feeling like they're not "enough". It's a safe space to talk about why this is such a struggle for so many of us and to learn new tools for combatting that feeling and changing unhelpful behaviors. The support of other women in the group is a vital part of the process. Learning to reach out and be seen, helps us as women to feel capable of making the changes necessary to live happier, more fulfilling lives and to know that we are ENOUGH!

More about this group

Love and Sex Addiction

This is a group for female love and sex addicts, who are looking for support and healing. Group therapy is an essential part of addiction treatment and this is a safe place for women to feel accepted and talk about addiction without feeling shame or judgement. Sex addiction is a growing problem and although we think of it as primarily a man's issue, it is NOT only men who are affected. This is a place for reaching out to the many, many women whose lives have been turned upside down and need healing and recovery!

Codependency & Connection

A support group for women who would like to better understand how codependent characteristics play out in relationship dynamics and contribute to feelings of resentment, low self worth, and dissatisfaction. Group members learn to use the group as a place to practice maintaining healthy boundaries and give each other support in learning new ways of moving through relationships with others.
