About
Coming to counseling is a brave and loving thing to do for yourself and others. I am passionate about working with couples and families. I focus on strengthening bonds by helping clients experience the benefits of non-reactive listening, creating appropriate boundaries, and understanding deeper needs. I utilize the Gottman Method when working with couples, and a relational approach to family therapy. I also enjoy working with individual clients, helping them gain self-understanding and compassion. If desired, a spiritual awareness that is respectful of every person's faith commitments can be incorporated into therapy.
My story? After serving as pastor to churches for over 8 years, I realized that my "thing" was pastoral care. Now with years of professional counseling experience, I can say I made the right career shift!
