Welcome! My goal is to create an open, non-judgmental space where we can work together to help you manage your situation and feelings while also exploring how to do things differently. We will work together to gain insight into your relationship dynamics, personality, commitment styles, beliefs, and family systems. My practice areas include: chronic health conditions/injuries, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. I work with individuals and families. I am currently scheduling new clients for the intern therapist at my practice for individual, couple, or family therapy which is offered from a sliding scale fee.
I am a medical family therapist, certified brain injury specialist, fully trained in EMDR therapy, and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I have specialized experience with medical issues and physical rehabilitation such as working with people after brain injuries, spinal cord injury or surgeries, stroke, and other types of injuries or illness.
