As a social worker and emergency response worker for the Department of Children and Families in Brockton, Massachusetts, I understand the many challenges of parenting, co-parenting, and different styles of raising mentally healthy children. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach to psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system, and person-centered therapy, allowing clients to take more of a lead in sessions and discover their own solutions.
