About
The relationship with your therapist is the most important factor in successful therapy. I'm grateful that you are considering me as someone who may help. I treat people with compassion, respect and understanding. I strongly believe you have the power to make positive change and improve your life - no matter what has happened so far. If you want to make a change and have found obstacles are in the way, I have proven experience to help you. I draw from many years of experience helping adults and teens as well as ongoing training and professional development in my work.
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults recover from depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma. I have advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I worked for the Boston Public Health Commission, Boston Medical Center and the South Boston Collaborative Center before starting a private practice.
I use the power of mind/body connection and mindfulness to enhance my practice. I have specialized training in evidence-based techniques for enhancing motivation to change, treating addiction, adolescents, trauma, self-harming behaviors, depression, anxiety disorders and meditation/visualization techniques to achieve peak performance and optimal health.
