Trauma therapy is a pain in the ass. It is hard and extremely uncomfortable. You might feel anger, sadness, grief, disappointment, or any number of a million other emotions. It sucks. But so does continuing to carry around unresolved trauma that is poisoning you. I work with people who are survivors and warriors and who refuse to let their past define them. They are not looking for a soft-spoken counselor who sugar-coats things. They appreciate direct communication, humor in therapy, and are not offended by F bombs. After reprocessing is completed, you will feel relief. You will experience peace, growth, and strength.
I am a certified EMDR provider, helping people reprocess and release trauma at the root. I am also offering neurofeedback now which helps with nervous system regulation. This work is raw and intense. I consider it an honor to walk with you through this.
