My therapy practice is centered in helping people discover the strength they already have, but have been struggling to use. Therapy can be useful for anyone, but sometimes finding the strength to seek out help can be the hardest part. I use a non-judgemental, empathetic, and casual approach with my clients to meet them wherever they are in their lives. Together, we establish goals and solutions. I work with those who are struggling with self-expression and effective communication as well as those who are having difficulty with identity exploration within and outside of relationships.
I also offer post-grad clinical supervision.
I utilize an eclectic approach, primarily focused in the person-centered theoretical model, but I also include elements of strength-based, solution-focused, CBT and DBT approaches. When appropriate, I may also incorporate art therapy into sessions to help with processing, finding deeper insight, and facilitating meaningful expression.
I help people that are working through various types of traumas, experiencing anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations, and anyone who wants to improve their coping and distress tolerance skills. I work with individuals and couples, adolescents and adults. My specialty is in substance abuse and dual diagnoses.

Groups
Undercurrents-An Art Therapy Group for Teens
Undercurrents: An art therapy ceramics group for teens ages 14-18 in which we will be exploring what lies beneath-using clay to express emotions, reflect on the inner world, and deepen identity. Participants will primarily work in clay through handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, surface design, and occasional use of 2D materials for additional expressive work. Sessions include guided reflection and processing, concluding with a post-firing processing group. This is a closed therapeutic group, not a pottery class.
