I don't know you but I am proud of you for coming here to seek help either for yourself or for someone you care about. When life becomes overwhelming, it can be hard to ask for help. Whatever has brought you here, I am so glad you did. My clients have come to a place where they recognize doing it on their own is no longer working for them. Childhood trauma, medical trauma, dissociation, constant anxiety, depression, hoarding, and self-acceptance around neurodivergence are some of the areas that my clients have challenges. I believe in you and your ability to change and live the life you choose.
I specialize in neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approaches such as IFS, somatic experiencing, and ACT. We work together to help your nervous system calm down, develop self-compassion, and build new, healthier pathways in the brain. I am also an experienced brainspotting practitioner, a gentle method that can support transformative change.
I am 56 years old and bring a lot of lived experience with me. This experience, along with my development as a counselor specializing in trauma and anxiety, helps me to understand and empathize with the struggles and challenges you face. When you are ready, I would love to hear from you.
