I have spent 8+ years working with children, adolescents, and adults who experience trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, attachment wounds, relationship, behavioral and adjustment issues in residential, inpatient, and private practice settings. I have a passion for understanding the brain, behaviors, and human development that challenges me to explore how they each interact with each other. I will never judge where you are each day and will always hold space for whatever you are experiencing, while also pushing you to identify what barriers you are facing and what options you might have to overcome them.
I primarily use combinations of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Sandtray and other play therapy techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, as well as creative expression through arts and music. I also use yoga and integrative health to help my clients gain awareness and control of the body.
I have a relaxed and honest approach to building a relationship that focuses on creating a space where you feel comfortable to be yourself. I believe in being human and holding space for empathy, compassion, and grace; without these we cannot feel safe to self-reflect on how to grow into the best versions of ourselves.
