I help families communicate better and enjoy time together more. If you are experiencing relationship difficulties or struggling with the effects of stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, or grief, I would be honored to support you. I am especially passionate about counseling culturally diverse families while they navigate life transitions, identity development, and learning or social-emotional concerns. As a former teacher with eight years of experience in public schools, I am also skilled at supporting students and parents as they work to meet their educational goals.

I combine multicultural, existential, and cognitive behavioral therapies in my work. We are constantly developing as people, and we each have multiple identities that influence how we view the world. I help my clients develop a deeper understanding of their values and strengths so they can experience fuller, more meaningful lives.

I believe in the therapeutic power of play, spending time in nature, and the expressive arts, including journaling, poetry, and painting, and I enjoy incorporating these techniques into my counseling practice. I would love to provide you with a place to explore and grow while you improve your relationship with yourself and those you care about most!
