What I hear most often from clients is that I offer a balance of creating a warm and comfortable environment, while also, challenging them in ways that make them motivated to create change in their lives. I believe this is key to success in therapy!
I am what one might call a "go-getter" type of therapist. I am able to conceptualize issues quickly and help clients see the root of problems. I work hard to be honest and transparent with clients, while also offering empathy, compassion, and support.
My work is centered around healing. I focus on helping clients navigate and process the impacts of their history, repair damaged relationships, develop healthy patterns, and grow interpersonally. I specialize in Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples and Interpersonal Process Therapy for individuals. I also offer EMDR for clients struggling with trauma.
