I believe that everyone deserves to live a life that leaves them excited to wake up every morning to pursue their dreams. Each of us possess the capacity to change and grow to reach our goals. We can become untethered from behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and personal narratives that no longer serve us, and we can enjoy that process along the way. Simply put, I don’t believe that therapy has to be a painful thing, but something we approach in partnership with curiosity and nonjudgement.
My current approach to therapy is done through mindfulness-based techniques and the lens of whole-person health and wellness. Treatment elements include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
Being person centered, I aim to work with the whole person rather than just a diagnosis, and empower clients to connect with their inner knowing.
