My passion is working with preteens (ages 11 and up), teens and women to help them understand the messy world of emotions, to live their best lives while learning the tools to navigate the challenges of mental illness and overcome trauma. I do this through a humanistic and holistic approach.
I am a Licensed Social Worker, a Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Hypnotherapist. I use an inclusive, strength based, trauma informed approach and I have been working as a social worker for 20 years. I use a variety of methods, such as trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy components, mindfulness techniques and hypnotherapy.
