Are you trying to make sense of your life following the diagnosis of a disability or chronic illness? Are you looking for help managing emotional distress, anxiety, or relationship issues? Do you struggle with the aftermath of adoption trauma? Sometimes life throws unexpected obstacles at us. Therapy can help, whether you are dealing with a new onset disability, coping with the frustrations of living disabled in an ableist society, or navigating the complexities of international or transracial adoption.
My own experience as a physically disabled person led me to ultimately specialize in working with people with many types of disabilities and chronic illnesses. I work with individuals with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. An adoptee myself, I use a trauma-informed approach to work with those who have been affected by adoption.
I value diversity and cultural humility, and I strive to affirm diverse identities. I am transparent, nonjudgmental, and open to feedback. My goal is to meet you where you are at and travel alongside you on your journey. I am member of PSYPACT so I can provide telehealth to people most states: psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap
