I enjoy doing anger management work with those who are ready to make a behavioral and emotional shift. I do mindfulness work and CBT with depression, anxiety, and panic. My background is with families, individual adults, teens and children. My doctoral level enables me to work with more serious issues. I have experience working with domestic violence, trauma, relationship issues, individuals with bipolar, psychotic/dilutional disorders and sociopolitical difficulties. I have an expertise in working with 0-6 yr olds and their parents doing parent child dyadic work, which improves the attachment relationship and emotional regulatory system of the child.
I have my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute's APA-approved clinical psychology program in Berkeley Ca, with a focus on multicultural clinical psychology. I Speak Spanish and English and am an advocate for the disabled; the largest and poorest minority group in the United States.
Previously I worked with the Jewish Child Family Center's Immigrant and Refugee project, worked with the Navajo and Hopi communities in Arizona and taught kindergarten in Ecuador. For my dissertation I assessed the advancement of civil rights for the disabled community.
