About
My goal is to meet you where you are in your mental health journey regardless of where you currently are. As the counselor, I do not assume the role of expert, but as the client’s equal in the therapeutic journey together. As the client, you can expect a judgement-free space, unconditional positive regard, a working therapeutic alliance, confidentiality, and competent care. Benefits to counseling include learning effective coping and living skills, better relationships, improved self-esteem, reduced stress, and a healthier body and mind.
My personal practice utilizes a trauma-informed approach to treat a variety of mental health diagnoses and concerns. I offer sessions for adults, adolescents, children, and couples. I like to tailor each session to fit the client’s unique individual needs and concerns while creating a non-judgemental and authentic space.
As Carl Rogers once wonderfully stated, “What is most personal is most universal”. I believe human suffering and healing is based on that very element of human commonality in which together, both client and counselor, can create a safe space to work together through life’s journey of ups and downs. Taking a step towards a better tomorrow begins today!
