My name is Erika Venegas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. My passion is to assist individuals achieve their therapy goals, and ultimately lead a happier and healthier life. My experience in treatment is in depression, anxiety, anger management, child/adolescent issues, behavioral issues, trauma, parenting issues, etc. I have experience working with children, adults, and families. My experience ranges from being school based to community mental health clinics.
Every client’s needs are different, therefore, my approach for each client will vary, since the path to recovery is unique for each person. Different approaches I can provide is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, etc.
I believe each person can find the coping strategies and techniques needed to help them overcome the many challenges they face in life. I aim to create an environment in session where a client feels heard, supported, comfortable, and understood. My approach in session is empathy and compassions, without judgement.
