Life is a journey, and in an increasingly connected world our ability to find balance may prove to be challenging and increase emotional vulnerabilities. "Down time" becomes less and less due to the pressures of society or of our own negative tapes that we play . My main focus is to reconnect and build a therapeutic relationship in an environment where the individual can work on formulating positive communication, set realistic personal goals, identify patterns of behaviors, and work on resolving issues in the here and now.
I work with adults, couples, and millennial's who may be experiencing: Transitional struggles, women's issues, retirement adjustments, stressors, relationship issues, lack of structure, poor boundary/communication skills, depression, anxiety, family conflict, performance based struggles, relationship challenges, anxiety, lack of self care, and codependency.
I also provide supportive sobriety counseling for those who have sustained periods of recovery time and family and friends impacted by a loved ones use.
