| español I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist with extensive experience treating trauma, disrupted childhood attachment, anxiety, and depression in school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults. I believe that the road to healing requires support, acceptance, and trust; therefore, I strive to provide a safe and collaborative environment where my clients feel free to explore their thoughts and emotions. My goal is to help and guide my clients and their families while providing extensive feedback, psychoeducation, and therapy.
In therapy, we work together on building coping skills, communication skills, reduction of problematic behaviors, and resolution of trauma history while redirecting our attention to the present moment. My approach to therapy is very eclectic as I strongly believe that “one size” cannot fit all, and I tailor treatment plans to fit my clients unique needs.
I am also particularly interested on working with immigrant Hispanic families; I believe that my personal experience aids the therapeutic process as I am aware of differences regarding language, culture, and family structures. Whether in English or Spanish, I center my practice in the well-being of my clients and their families.
