Many times in life we develop behaviors and patterns as a means to cope because this is all we have at the moment. Although these methods may no longer serve you, change is difficult. This is where therapy can offer the opportunity to heal painful wounds of the past, while developing healthier coping skills for today. I believe we all have the power to heal and overcome life's challenges, but sometimes need extra support and guidance along the way.
I treat a broad range of issues, but specialize in trauma/PTSD. I understand many times you cannot talk your way out of these issues or memories so I utilize EMDR as my main trauma treatment approach. I have witnessed time and time again, the healing power of this modality.
I offer active listening, empathy and compassion all while developing a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. I believe in a holistic approach that will address all of you; emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. I look forward to helping you find your best self!
