Deciding to enter into professional counseling can be a scary idea, but I believe an individual’s ability to recognize that there is a problem, coupled with their willingness to work to find a solution, demonstrates courage. I have experience in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. My passion is working alongside my clients which includes; children, adolescents, and adults; to help bring healing to those who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience.
I have been trained in a range of research based practices including Seeking Safety and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I like to balance my practice through use of techniques from a variety of theorists, cognitive, and solution focused techniques to help my clients improve their overall quality of life.
I strive to help my clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their family and personal relationships so they can feel healthy, whole, and safe. Therapy is not an easy process, but I can assure you I will walk alongside with you.
