We all have different seasons in our lives where we may feel a pull or a need for change and growth. My hope is to help those on their individual journeys find a place that feels good for them and their families. I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, heard and validated and thus I provide that in my therapy room, and help other family members develop that for one another.
With my studies in Marriage and Family therapy, I offer therapy from the family systems approach. This means we recognize that relationships are not linear but complex parts of a system. Whether I am meeting with an individual or couple, this allows us to broaden our view of certain situations and approach it more wholly.
I offer Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, as well as EMDR for past traumas as well as processing what I like to call the "ick" in some past experiences. I am also working toward my Gottman Level 1 training, and also am a Facilitator for Prepare and Enrich (for couples).
