You don't have to build those walls up forever, you can learn to trust again even if right now you don't know where to begin or how.

If anything I've said so far you identify with then hello and welcome :) As a psychotherapist, I teach skills to those who struggle with feeling connected to others and/or themself due to feeling shutdown, disconnected or anxious and are ready to work on this. Don't continue facing your worries alone, you can learn to trust again and free yourself.

You may have learned to respond to stress, trauma and fear to help you feel safe but continuing to live in the past and respond this way is no longer helpful for you. Processing why you react or think the way you do helps to increase your chances of changing how you think, feel and live. It's hard to do but you won't be alone; I'll be right there with you.
