Accepting new clients who can be flexible in scheduling! Healing opens the space between stimulus and response. In that space, we have more time to process what's happening, which gives us more time to choose better responses. Better responses tend to bring much more happiness, and tend to lower the levels of stress in our bodies. For MUCH more about me, Please Visit my WEBSITE where you can EMAIL me via an encrypted link. I believe that therapy needs to engage the smartest parts of our brain and the most ancient parts of our brain to be truly effective. The smart part of our brain responds to information and logic. The limbic brain responds to sensation and metaphor and regulates how safe we feel in the world. My education and experience help me to work with both.
Other therapists often identify me as warm and compassionate. Clients and patients frequently say that they feel safe with me. These feelings flow from my deep belief that there is a spark of the divine in every person. From that place, I don’t judge others and I don’t shame. I identify as spiritual, not religious.
