Announcement icon During this crisis I am offering sessions via Doxy, FaceTime, Skype, and phone - making it easier to connect.
Life can be hard at times - for all of us. Sometimes, it is because of challenging circumstances such as the loss of a loved one, an illness/health issue, or a life transition. Other times, it's difficult to recognize the cause of the challenge. From the outside, your life may look wonderful, yet it may not feel that way on the inside. You don't need to push through on your own. I am here to help. It is crucial that you feel "gotten" by and connected to your therapist. I tailor my approach to the needs of my clients, as everyone is different and there is no "one size fits all" solution to life's challenges.
I have extensive experience working with people who struggle with anxiety, care-taking roles, life transitions, marital issues and chronic illness. I also offer evidence-based therapy that is specifically designed to help those who are struggling with a sense of being stuck in their intense grief.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and direct. I work to help you gain insight into yourself and your relationships, identify specific areas of your life that you want to change, and offer direct guidance to help you do so. In addition to in-person sessions I offer online therapy, which I have found to be extremely effective.
