I have worked across a variety of settings from government agencies to inpatient/outpatient hospitals, including Stanford Health Care. I support individuals struggling with difficult life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues utilizing evidence-based approaches: EMDR, DBT, CBT and internal family systems (IFS).
I was born and raised in Mexico. My experiences and challenges as an immigrant and WOC afford me the ability to support others facing cultural challenges. I am sensitive to the needs of immigrant populations. In addition, I conduct psychological immigration evaluations: asylum, extreme hardship waivers, WAVA and U/T visa cases.
