Is your adjustment to motherhood more difficult than you thought it would be? Do frightening new thoughts have you questioning whether you are a “good” mom because you may feel sad, angry and overwhelmed sometimes? Do you feel overstimulated and guilty and want to feel happiness and joy, as a new mother or a "seasoned" parent? It is hard and you want to feel like yourself again! Perinatal and postpartum depression, anxiety and overwhelm are very real and nothing to be ashamed of. Reaching out is the first step in your healing journey and I would be honored to be on that journey with you.
I have extensive training and experience working with women experiencing pregnancy/postpartum related issues, specializing in anxiety/depression. I hold a certification in perinatal mental health. I am here to support you in feeling all of those emotions and to help you find your sense of self again.
I will create a safe, non-judgmental space that allows you to unpack your feelings and thoughts and be your true self. Successful therapy starts with a trusting relationship, something I take great pride in. We will work together to identify your needs, set goals and create a plan. Thank you for trusting me, I look forward to meeting you.
