Erika Brown-Campbell
Psychologist, PhD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a practice in adult and adolescent psychotherapy. Issues commonly faced by those with whom I work often include themes of anxiety, depression, relationship strain or conflict, work related stress, difficulty adjusting to significant life transitions, and parenting concerns. While the struggles people bring are varied, requiring a thoughtful personalized approach to each, I offer a consistently supportive and collaborative style in which to undertake the work together.
Often of importance in my psychotherapy work with patients is a broadened understanding of difficulties, their evolution and impact as well as a clarification of life choices available including potential directions of change that feel more satisfying and productive for the individual.
In addition to my graduate training, I have completed programs in both psychoanalysis and child and adolescent psychotherapy at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I am in private practice in Nyack, New York.
