Now accepting clients for virtual services in MD, VA, DC and PA. Compassion, authenticity, and empathy are the foundation of a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship, and I take a relational approach to my work. My primary clinical focus and expertise lie in the areas of complex trauma and eating disorders, with extensive training and experience working with clients who have experienced trauma stemming from childhood abuse, sexual trauma, and/or intimate partner/domestic violence. I particularly enjoying working with young adults, military members and their families, as well as athletes.
I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client's individual needs. I am an EMDR trained clinician and often use this modality to treat clients who have experienced trauma. I also offer talk therapy, often using components of DBT to help clients improve coping & mindfulness skills, distress tolerance, and interpersonal relationships.
