I am a sex positive therapist, LCSW and MBT supervisor. My career started in 2006 and have owned my private practice since 2021. I am down to earth even with extensive experience and training. My style is validating and to challenge my clients in order to move towards emotional/behavioral change while working on core attachment issues. My areas of speciality are: BPD/NPD/PDNOS, Trauma/PTSD/CPTSD, Abuse/DV, Gender/sexuality, ENM/Poly, Kink/BDSM, and LGBTQIA+ folx. My approach is client focused and collaborative as I approach my work with clients as a journey we take together.
I have been trained in several Evidence-Based therapeutic modalities including: Psychodynamic, CPTSD, ACT, and MBT (Mentalization Based Treatment), which all inform the way in which I approach treatment with clients. My style is unique and at times I will recommend unconventional techniques or skills completely tailored to my clients.
I utilizes a variety of skills when working with clients to address the many issues people face. My approach is holistic which includes a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, along with recommendations to help enhance the therapy work. I work with clients in a person centered way to help them recognize patterns of thoughts & behaviors.
