I believe counseling is a creative, collaborative process designed to promote growth and change. As a therapist, I act as guide and support to my clients in their pursuits of integration, growth, and transformation. I work with compassion, intention, and integrity. I support my clients to have the courage to be vulnerable, to recognize and utilize their strengths in service to their goals, and to develop skills to better manage the challenges they face. I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, grief and loss, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, parent/child conflicts, and family difficulties.
I am passionate about working with clients to integrate and resolve the impact of stress and trauma in their lives, and bring years of experience working in intensive treatment settings. My aim is to bring hope to my clients, and to honor their innate wisdom throughout the process of change.
I respect the wisdom of the body. I understand how stress and trauma can impact the body, mind, and spirit. I believe that each client is the expert of their own life, and draw upon a wide variety of therapeutic techniques to create a process that respects each unique individual.
