Maybe you're overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply tired of holding it all together. I work with people who are thoughtful, capable, and used to figuring things out on their own. Some have spent years overthinking, staying busy, keeping the peace, or trying to understand their way out of what hurts. Many of my clients think deeply and feel deeply, and some have tried therapy before and left feeling like they talked a lot without getting anywhere.
Therapy with me is collaborative and focused. I want to understand what's underneath; what your mind, body, relationships, and patterns are trying to tell us. My work includes high-conflict couples & families, trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that form when thinking becomes easier than feeling. I draw from IFS, EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and EFT.
I see adults and teens 14 and up as well as couples and families at The Community in Alpharetta and by telehealth across Georgia. Starting therapy can feel like a big leap with a stranger and it can be helpful to talk to each other before we know if we're the right fit.
