I approach treatment and therapy through a trauma-informed, client-centered, attachment theory-based, internal family systems/parts work and harm-reduction lens. I would like to assist you in processing your emotions in a healthy manner and to assist you in learning the necessary skills to acquire new tools to make the changes you want in your life. I am passionate in helping individuals that struggle with PTSD, substance use, depression, anxiety, fear, shame/guilt, grief/loss, life transitions, identity issues, and relationship concerns.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am trained in Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Brainspotting (Phase I & II) therapies. These psychosomatic interventions can offer treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, cravings, and other conditions.
I bring a client-centered and strength-based approach, wherein I believe you have the best understanding of yourself. I want to be there to help guide you to work towards resolving any problems that have been acting as barriers to your life. I have a passion working with individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA community, and identify myself as queer.
