The experience of anxiety can be debilitating. In my work with patients, I focus specifically on anxiety, OCD and phobias. I want to help free patients from the binds of anxiety and support them in becoming independent in the world again without fear. I enjoy working with teeagers and "emerging adults" and their families as they move through a crucial period of identity development. I especially enjoy working with teens to identify their values while figuring out who they are. I also enjoy working with young children and famlies around behavioral and communication challenges.
I offer Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy to address pobias, OCD, and anxiety. I am also providing PCIT therapy to address parental play and communication patterns between parents and children. Finally, I offer parental/family guidance and consultation of those who are dealing with a loved one that struggles with anxiety/OCD/phobias.
In my practice as a therapist, my primary goal is to help adolescents and adults live values-driven lives instead of lives that are driven by anxiety and fear. I believe in a nonjudgemental therapeutic alliance and am honroed when someone allows me to join them on their journey.
