The purpose of therapy is to help us better connect. Suffering comes from a lack of connection with parts of ourselves, others, or greater purpose. Sometimes this appears as anxiety, depression, interpersonal tension, or persistent feelings of dissatisfaction. Often times, nervous system shut down prevents meaningful connection and/or meaningful movement in therapy. As a relational therapist, I work with you to build on your natural self awareness and insight to explore your patterns and reframe/rescript them. We address nervous system dysregulation through awareness, somatics, or a listening protocol called Safe & Sound.
My specialization in human sexuality enables me to help others navigate the intimate aspects of themselves and their relationships, as well as any trauma that's been experienced in this realm. This can go hand-in-hand with nervous system work.
