So many clients come to therapy with negative self-talk – listening to the negative voice in their head. Erica takes a strengths-based approach to examine this negative voice and partner with clients to develop skills to limit distorted, unhelpful beliefs. In therapy, you don't have to go to difficult places alone.
Erica has worked with many adult clients who have a history of complex trauma. She is especially skilled in partnering with adults who have experienced physical, sexual, emotional, psychological or religious abuse within their relationships & individuals struggling with OCD symptoms or traits or early childhood attachment wounds.
Part of the human experience is learning how to navigate those highs and lows, and especially the unforeseen ones. It is important to know that your story doesn't start or end with emotional injury. Recovery takes time and reconnection to your internal compass and inner strength.
