I’m a licensed therapist at Sanative Counseling & Wellness Center with openings Monday - Friday (mornings and early afternoons). If you're finding thoughts or memories make it hard to get through the day, relationships are complicated or toxic, you're feeling anxious or not good about yourself - I'd love to help. Maybe you feel guilty or not up to the task, or you're pregnant, trying, or recently had a child enter your life. Maybe you don't feel like you can share things with friends or family, and you don't have an outlet. Therapy can be a great place to start to explore how to get to a better frame of mind.
Therapy starts with finding a good fit. That said, I am passionate about helping with trauma, anxiety, depression, pregnancy/postpartum, veterans, complicated or toxic relationships, and substance use. I have a background in research, specialized training in trauma and risk prevention, and years of experience helping people through each area listed and more.
I try to create a space where you feel comfortable as you are, while balancing feedback to help you heal and grow. I lean into cultural humility, intersectionality, and compassion-focused approaches to serve people with diverse backgrounds, eg, LGBTQIA+ and people with multiple cultural/racial heritages.
